End of lease inspection.....

Tomorrow morning I have my end of lease inspection and I have to say I am really curious on how this is going to go down. Last year I was in a car accident and wound up doing about $10,000 in damage to the car, but obviously it has been repaired. In fact, I went where the dealer recommended. The accident never went through any insurance company, as the person at fault paid me cash for the repairs. They did an average/decent job. Car has new tires, one door ding, couple of small rock chips on the hood.

Am I correct, as long as the car was repaired to its normal condition, I shouldn't be charged? Are they going to charge for not staying on top of the maintenance? Are they pulling dealer records? I wasn't always exactly up on my oil changes... Cosmetically, it looks great, but I am sure if you put it on a lift it probably is a little twisted (to a trained eye) and I am sure the internals of the motor aren't the cleanest, as it feels a bit down on power, but this could be due to summer temperatures. I am under my 65K mileage allowance of my lease currently, but plan to try and get as close as possible to it prior to turning it in. I already sourced out my transportation needs already, so I won't be getting $500 credit from Infinity

Below are some pics. You can see the paint peel on the mudflap, wheel scuff, and front bumper/parking curb scuff. Is this going to be more than $1000 in excess wear and tear?

Just looking at your exterior pics it doesn't look like any unreasonable wear/damage for a 65k mile lease (BTW how much extra did you have to pony up for that much mileage allowance?).
The fact that you have a documented acccident w/$10k in damages is a real black eye though. You admit that it was just an average repair job. Not sure if average would mean you consider it acceptable but it sounds like it wasn't the greatest repair job. If it was me and I knew I had a lease to return, I would have insisted on a top-notch repair. If you made some money by not going through your insurance, then hopefully it was enough to offset what deficiencies they'll find during your lease turn-in. Also neglecting maintainance will probably bite pretty hard tomorrow too Turning in a poor running car that's been in a 10k accident will set off fire alarms at the dealer.
Good Luck, your car looks nice from the pics but I surely wouldn't want to be the next buyer of that ride after hearing what it's been through

41ants: Are you going to lease a new Infiniti G37X? or other Infiniti?. If you do, there is a $500 forgiveness with Infiniti. Also if you look at the new 2010 G37X [the car that I leased after I turned my G35X in], BE SURE TO TEST DRIVE IT COMPLETELY, THOUGHTFULLY, TAKE IT THRHOUGH THE PACES: It is NOT the same car. Man, I miss my G35X, best car I ever had. What a stupid mistake - should have bought my G35 only had 25k miles. The new 7 sp AT SUX.

You'll be fine, they don't pull any records. Ive had many lease turn ins, they are done by 3rd party companies. The woman that did my last one was like a 65 year old redneck grandmother. As long as your car was fixed and looks good, it's all good. They don't even drive it.

Your G looks fine in the pics. The mud guards are optional so if you are worried about the missing paint then take them off. I have had a few leases and the 3rd party inspectors generally check for large scratches, dents, worn tires, cracked glass and ripped interiors. They will run the car a while but not drive it. They dont ask for service records.
