I second the Kuhmo's. Switched to those after the bridgestones died. But the bridgestones did last till 25k when I got the car.

Still not a huge fan of the clutch, but to each his own. Maybe I just don't like heavier clutches.
the g's clutch is really light. it's not quite rx8 light, but in the grand scheme it's light as hell with a **** poor, vague, high catch point.

other than that, 6spd > auto any day

I just know my leg gets a hell of a lot more tired during rush hour in the G than the previous two cars I was driving. Granted a lot more HP in the G, but...

Of course, it could just be the "tricky" catch point that does it...

and 6 spd > auto any day sure....any time during the day, maybe not... like 5pm on the way home from work

The 6mt has a somewhat of a learning curve on how to balance the clutch, but once you get that down, there's no way in hell you'll go back to an auto.
Other than that, the only thing I like about the auto is the center arm rest is evaluated and more comfortable.

Don't forget with the auto, you get ACTUAL cupholders.

I'm really torn between the two options. In my research I have found better deals on the manuals because I think they are a little harder to sell...on the other hand I have 2 kids who would really appreciate the rear A/C vents...

I suspect I would be satisfied with either one....but I am really struggling with the decision. Another problem is that there are non MT's any where near me on autotrader....going to be tough to find one to test drive.

6MT NO BRAINER. It's way more fun to drive. Autos are boring and you have less control of the car. I get stuck in traffic everyday too and it sucks but it's still worth it.

if you can get the 6mt then get it. But also test drive the auto while you're there. to me the auto felt faster but the manual felt like I had more control.

I ended up with an auto.
