Daytime running lights?

My car doesnt use the DRLs for this purpose but they do come on when the headlights are on. They take away from the look of the projectors. Is there a replacement bulb for this or is it ok to just remove the bulbs all together? Anyone try this

EDIT.... found what I was looking for.

I have tried to figure out how to make daylight running lights work on my 08. But nothing works. I checked the owners manual and I only saw DRL listed for Canadian cars. Does that mean my car doesn't have running headlights? If so, why not? I'd rather not run with the xenon lights on all day, and I worry if I use the parking lights I'll forget to manually turn them off and run my battery dead. I love the look of the daylight led running lights used on the Audi A4. Why doesn't Infiniti do something like this (or maybe they do on the models after 08)?

It's easy - get a KP DRL module from KPtechnologies.com, install. Your fogs will act as DRLs. Feel free to replace the fogs with matched white Hoen bulbs (as I did).

talk to your insurance company before doing this. you can often get a discount if you have DRLs but they may require some kinda of other proof or specific module.

This is exactly what I need. I went to their website but couldn't find the part you suggested using.

Do you have a part number?
Is it easy to install? (is there a link showing the install?)
Are the bulbs easy to install? (link showing the install?)

Also, on the link to other bulb installs I saw folks replace the yellow parking lights with a white bulb or LED. What bulb do most folks use? Is that an easy install?

Thanks in advance!

Yikes! I found the Fog Light Control Module on the KPtech website. And I read the install instructions. There is absolutely no way I'd be able to install that myself! Way too complicated. Bummer, I was looking forward to having running lights.
