Large Scratch inside of Driver Door

I don't wear a wedding ring..divorced...and don't have any jewelry on my left hand..so I am not sure how it happened but I have a bunch of little scratches and this HUGE scratch on the interior door panel, where you pull it shut..the white scratch on the black material looks terrible.

Is there anything I can use to fix that, cover it, make it look better? A new interior door panel is $545 so I am looking for something a bit south of that.

Thanks if anyway has any advice that can help me from staring at that eyesore every minute..it's worse than texting and driving!!!

Thanks in advance for any advice

pics help, there is a TSB out for this and has been discussed in a few threads. If you are under warranty they will replace it for free.

Thank you so much. I didn't realize there was a TSB. I have a great relationship with my dealership and they have fixed things on their own under warranty just when I have brought it in for an oil change. When I asked them the price of a new door insert, they didn't say boo about it..just told me the price...so that's odd.

I appreciate the prompt reply. I will look for a TSB...

Attached are some images.

I got my passenger, driver door, and steering wheel replaced because of this. The dealer gave me no problems and replaced them under warranty. I feel like YMMV, though...The new door trims have a different feel to the originals, but my steering wheel still uses the same material. I'm guessing Infiniti knew about this issue and changed the paint job.

What you need is the Door Switch Bezel and they cost about $30 LINK
My guess is you have an '07. Like the guys are saying some have been replace under warranty or TSB.

I looked through the list of TSB for the 07 sedans (79 of them) & the TSB for the 08 sedans (66). There are none that refer to the Interior door trim or steering wheel. Sorry.
Hopefully you have a nice dealer and/or its covered by the warranty.

ya it is bad, and yes he could live with it but why not when you can get it replaced and for free? It not supose to look like that thats why there's a TSB. You dont need a number when you talk to whomever takes care of you express that you know there is a TSB thats what was done in my case. GL
