my wife recently asked why I made it so when I lock the car with the key fob it no longer beeps. I did not do anything on purpose to make this happen. also the car no longer beeps when you hit the button on the door to lock or unlock. does anyone know how to turn this back on?

There's a trick...I think you press the lock and trunk button together for three seconds...or something...search the forums. I think you accidentally turned off the sound by pressing those buttons...I don't remember the button combination to press

Correction:
Search the G35 Tips thread. They mention that you have to hold the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on your key fob to restore the beep function/turn off the beep function.

The beeping trick works for locking the car. I never noticed it with that little beep.

 

The beeping is ok.. but the honking is very annoying! anyway to turn the honking off? and leave the beeping on?
