I have had my 08 G35S for a few weeks now and I have had no issues using the Bluetooth phone option with my Blackberry but all of the sudden today when I get in the car and the phones connects with the car system the screen in the car instantly shows it is on a call and will not end with the button on the steering wheel. When I look at my phone screen it does not show I am on a call at all. The only way I have been able to stop this is to make a call on my phone and hang up. After a few seconds the car's screen will show the call ended and go back to the radio.

I do not have navigation for what it is worth

Any ideas?

 

Next time it happens I would try to:

1) Make sure your key is not near your phone.
2) Power cycle the phone, and have it reconnect to the car.

Beyond that I have no clue.

 

IIRC, the Bluetooth in the G is v 1.0, and in new phones it's 2.0 and beyond. So, this can cause random compatibility problems.

But in your case, every once in a while the electrical system screws up, and restarting the car will fix it. Drive by wire FTL...
