2011 G25 Configurator Online

Infiniti has updated the website and you can now view and build the G25. Some interesting things I noticed:

-No more G37 base. The lowest model G37 is the Journey.
-There are no options on the G25 base. It is equipped the same way as the old G37 base, obviously with the exception of the motor. The G25 Journey can only be optioned with the moon roof for $1,000 extra. Cant have it in smokey quartz or red either.

So, looks like if you want a sport or a manual you have to go with the G37. I think this is nice...wont ever see a G25 sport with the badges removed...

^+1 if they are fighting IS250 and such in the market then it needs to offer those features since other competitors do

35k as loaded as it goes isn't too bad of a deal IMO.

i cant believe there isnt a tech package option for this... having a sunroof as the only option is kinda lame. not a very good matchup for Lexus.

I think this might just be a way for Infiniti to fill dealers with a car that stays at a lower price point than the G37. I could see them upping the options list next year or for the 2012 model once the dealers have a pipeline full of the base cars.

I can remember many model introductions (still happening) that manufacturers will first only ship the top line models. Many people get turned off because they see the high sticker price and look no further.

I will say that if Infiniti in the future does not make more options available, they must not get it! Any of the entry level engines in the euro (Bimmer, Audi, MB) you can option up wildly with the same stuff.

I definitely disagree. I never understood why people pay $2k 4 nav when u can get a good aftermarket 1 for 1/10th the price + be able 2 use it in more than 1 vehicle.

because the 2k includes things like a 10 gig hard drive for loading music on, a backup camera, higher resolution screen, compact flash reader, the navigation system itself (duh) and some other cool stuff.
