could the swirling patterns going side to side that your class talked about be more due the the inherent properties of the painting process rather than due to the owners "scrubbing" their paint the wrong way?
anything special about 'clay'? or can I use them Micheal's art store coupons and buy a bucket for cheap? :-)

lol I don't know if you're kidding, but go to an auto parts store and get a clay bar. Don't use actual clay from a hobby store unless you're planning on making pottery on your car.
