My car is 3.5 years old and I'm only on my second set of OEM inserts.

The OEM's are outstanding. The secret to any good wiper's longevity is keeping it clean

I did clean them every month. They streaked even more after cleaning, so I gave up. I have a new set of Bosch Icons. I will see if these are better. Maybe I got defective blades before. I highly doubt it because both blades streaked at the same time after about a month.

Right now I have Rain-X with Bosch Icons, they work well together but do not wipe clean as well as Rain-X.

Trust me, look at the reviews on Amazon. You'll see lots of people complaining about the streaking after about a couple months of use on the Bosch Icons. Even the Consumer Reports said it streaked very quickly, and rated the Rain-X Latitudes as a better longer lasting blade.

BTW I did not rate them on Amazon, so you may find people with similar stories as me. If you do a Google Search on Rain-X Latitudes vs. Bosch Icons, you'll find people saying that Rain-X Latitudes last longer.

These are the Consumer Reports Ratings:
1. Valeo 600 series-Recommended
2. Rain X Latitude-Recommended
3. Anco 31 series-CR Best Buy
4. Michelin Rainforce-CR Best Buy
5. Anco Contour
6. Valeo 900 series
7. PIAA Super Silicon
8. Bosch ICON
9. Rain X Weatherbeater
10. Trico Exact Fit
11. Michelin Hydro Edge
12. Michelin Optimum
13. Anco Aero Vantage
14. Trico Teflon Blade
15. Trico Innovision

Using Michelins from Wally World for $13.50 each. Work great so far. My German cars are running Bosch, but decided to try Michelins.

I agree! OEM refills are pretty hard to beat. picked them both up from the dealer for 20 bucks total!

Cheapest single spring wipers from Wally world are my vote, i picked up a set a couple of months ago, and they are tons better than the OEMs the "webbed" pretty quickly on me.

Another tip similar to the rain X wax is to use any cheap wax you might have sitting around. That'll reduce streaking as well as the need to use the wipers at all like Rain X.

Here's another tip, clay and/or use bug/tar remover on the windshield. It gets rid of all the impurities still stuck on the glass that causes ripples in the wiper blade that eventually leads to streaks.

The only dealership I'd ever take the G for a service: Riverside Infiniti.
