Wish me luck
I drive 5hrs on Friday to potentially purchase an 07 G35S Slate Blue 6-speed, premium/Nav w/30269 miles for $23988. Hope all goes well on my 06 Denali trade. This happens to be the same dealership and salesman I bought my new 04 Sedan back in Feb 2005. This will be great if it happens.
pray for me.

good luck hope its worth the drive and everything works out the way you expect for it to. Hope you have already discussed everything within a ballpark price wise and trade wise though.

^^^ LMAO yes it could be an awesome 5hr drive home or it could be a pissed off hate GM, and wasted $120 in GAS drive back home.
Thanks to all the well wishers

Its possible but unlikely... the bose comes with the premium package which is separate from the nav, but i believe that if you get nav then they pair it with premium automatically if im not wrongn cause of the speaker system for nav.
If they list premium package then you have bose.

Nope TTL extra. I wish it was out the door but I haven't found that deal as yet, however that's the cheapest price I've seen in the Southeast so far
Several things to remember:
Just be ready to walk away. Don't let the trip itself make you buy something you don't want or pay too much. If the salesman knows you're making a long trip he'll think he's got you hooked. If he can tell that you'll walk he'll work with you more. And don't bluff it, you have to be genuinely willing to walk away.
Beware of small print. I drove an hour to get my coupe based on the 'internet price'. I did not read the small print that said that prep and maintenance would be additional. The salesman said they had done $2k worth of maintenance in their shop (it got a new clutch) and added that to the price. I told him I would pay the listed price and no more and he caved. Obviously he was using that $2k as a bargaining chip and was prepared to waive it but he probably collects that from some rubes who want the car so much they'll pay anything. Make sure there are no additional costs before you leave.
Beware of small but significant condition issues that you can't see on photos. I went to buy an 07 G35S 6MT that looked good in pictures and CarFax. But when I got there the car had been smoked in heavily. It was putrid! Also, there was a huge tear in the driver's side carpet. The floormats were in the trunk but where out of a Honda. Tires were new...low end Continentals. None of these were deal breakers by themselves but all together they just spelled trouble to me. So again, be ready to walk away!
Also, get two sets of keys, remotes (or keyless fobs) and all manuals. Like an idiot I got one key, one remote and no manuals for my coupe. This was from a dealership! Keys, fobs and programming are crazy expensive.
Good luck!
