i hooked my ipod touch in the rca for my music but this is pretty dope..so any HTC phone could do this?

Not sure if all HTC's can do this.. this feature is one of the main things that sold me on getting this phone along with all the good reviews.

I had to fiddle with the display settings in the G, turned the black level up and changed the contrast level. Still a little fuzzy however.

Do you think if you switched the Map settings on the Droid to MAPS versus SATELLITE would make it much clearer?

I just need to find a micro-hdmi to rca for a Droid X then look up other settings to make this work..

If the Droid X has an micro-hdmi output, which is digital and the rca outlets are analog, an adapter is needed to convert from digital to analog?

As far as I know, the htc incredible is the only phone to output everything you see on your phone including all the apps you are using on it. Mostly all the phones only output the video and music player to any external monitors. You may want to test your droid X on a device that has hdmi in and see if the phone will output video for the apps you want before purchasing any hdmi to composite conversion cables.

how did you manage to display ur htc phone on the navi i bought the cable and it only works while the e brake is down. I have the same phone you do. can you email me the procedure on doing this the correct way thanks jtz1006@hotmail.com
