Quick question... were you able to screw in the bracketron mount? Because I was only able to pressure mount it... i.e. squeeze it between the center unit and the panel without actually screwing it in... I did see a place to screw it in higher, but that would've been too high for my taste...

Looks good! I plan to get a pro clip for my setup on the iPhone. Except I just did it the normal bypass way, no module or anything.

I also have it just pressure mounted, it does still wiggle a bit, so I may just add some doublestick tape to add some stability to it.

i believe there are some jailbroken apps like DisplayOut and TvOut2 Mirror that allow your iphone or ipad to display the non-video screen.. i wonder if that would work with the apple composite cables.

anybody try yet?

Infinit - looking great! this is the one thing i wish i had researched more before buying my droid x, i would have bought the incredible in a heartbeat!

im hoping the thunderbolt can do this too....

and to the poster who was asking about going HDMI to RCA, you can, there are modules out there. they do required power though so you'd have to check that it's 12V, then you could wire it to the lighter or something.

and also, jyruuu - those cydia apps *will allow you to use the ipod/iphone in this manner, as far as i know. i may be buying an iphone tonight so i've considered this too. too bad i put so much effort into my carputer already lol.

Ugh....every phone I've checked that Sprint offers won't work with this setup.

Guess I'll stick to just using my audio out of my Crackberry for now!

Are you sure the HTC Supersonic (EVO or EVO Shift) doesn't have that capability? I will look and see 2nite if I can get my phone to display on a different external device.
