Non-OEM Wipers Don't Fit Properly...

I have read various posts on here about replacement wipers for our generation G35 and it seems that the Bosch and RainX Latitude are the top choices. I needed some blades going into winter so I purchased a set of Latitudes and installed last night. Not real happy with how they fit. The OEM blade bracket is connected off to the side of it and not on top like all other non-OEM replacements. Does not seem like a big deal at first but after looking at them and running the wipers I noticed I lost over an inch of cleaning to the far left side. (Driver side) This is due to the Latitude bracket attaching on top vs. the side. The passenger wiper sits one inch further to the right (Passenger Side) due to the mounting so it actually hits the trim below the the fender/hood. They work but for the little you save vs. the OEM I think I will go back to the OEM. Yes, probably **** but wondering if anyone else has noticed this and letting others know for the future if you switch them out don't be surprised.

Try the Bosch then...I have the Bosch Icons and I don't have your problem with them.

I heard you can just do the wiper refills on the OEM wipers, which is probably your best choice. The Bosch Icons smear really quickly after a while.

Yes you can get the refills from the dealer. They always try to replace the wipers at certain services, but in reality you only need the refills not the entire arm. Might still be pricey buy they work well IMO. Mine need to be replace also since i bought my car used.

On a side note, when ur washing/waxing ur ride, take the time to use a rag and clean the wiper blades also, you might be surprised on the difference it'll make

Thanks for the info. I do wipe silicone on them occasionally but probably not enough.

I heard it costs around 7.50-10 for each refill...

Still cheaper than each individual blade from Bosch Icons...
