this has been a frustrating problem with the car ever since I got it.
08 g35 premium w/ bose. If I play any song with any sort of bass I get significant rattles coming from the driver side tweeter general location of the door. If I open it up and slap on some dynamat, will this make the sound go away?
Absolutely ruins any song I play over 2/4th of the volume up
listen for yourself
input appreciated

ya that does sound annoying, i reckon if u open up the door u might find something loose that is rattling and some dynamat shoudl fix it right up, cause i dont have such a consistent rattle from my driver door at all, i have an annoying one from the rear shelf though
man my **** does that too. i hate it. I wonder how to fix that crap, maybe the dealership could do it? I don't know if its suppose to do that or not but it makes my infiniti feel so "cheap". I was riding in a c class mercedes and when she bumped it; it wasnt any rattling.
got the same problem... sometimes i gets so bad that i have to put my knee up against the inside of the door when i am driving...
i was planning on takin the panel off and seeing whats up, but no time...

^ its pretty easy to take it off, couple of bolts and and then pull it apart, see the diagram to see the hidden bolts to avoid breaking anything, and its easy going from there.
I had a bad rattle in roughly the same place (driver's side door)
A month back I opened it up, made sure all the screws were tight (don't over tighten as they will snap off)
and I also added dynamat all around in varies areas, esp around the speaker and tweaters.
Put everything back and until today there's no rattles
,
so my suggestion would be yes it should eliminate the noise, but just make sure you place the dynamat in the correct places and see if it helps.

I had this same problem, took it to Riverside Infiniti and they applied some sort of insulation inside the door panel. No more rattles, instead its crisp and clean bass.

It's absolutely amazing what it does for this type of problem.
FWIW, I have used B-Quiet products.
Great quality & less expensive than Dynamat
seems to be a common problem in this car, glad im not alone
so sound dampening materials seem to be the way to go! I will definitely look into installing some over the holidays as this is absolutely unsatisfactory for this type of car. Even my honda accord sounds better in these regards, which is sad.
does anyone think the dealer would cover this under warranty work for a CPO car? or is that a long shot
@intgr8r what products from the b-quiet website do you suggest, based on this page: http://www.b-quiet.com/compare.html any recommendations?

I generally have to turn the bass either completely off or way down due to the annoying rattle, was thinking of dynamatting as well... but IMHO a problem like this you expect to find in a 90's Ford and not a '07 G.
personally i dont understand how people claim removing the door panel is easy. someone smashed my side mirrors so i had to remove the door panel and it wasnt easy at all. its mostly easy except the door handle panel, which i was never able to truely remove... yes i am **** about damaging the panel so it was my handycap. i even own panel pullers.
its easy seriously! just a flat screwdriver, and a philips! look for a hole near the bottom of trim and pull of door pull then take out the philips stars. now by the handle use the flat to pull off small square now philips again!!!!!!!!! finally near bottom of door panel another hole stick the flat deep in there and start pullin off slowly! pop pop pop now just lift it off and unplug the ish! THATS IT MAHN!!!
Sounds like loose screws...had that problem a few months back after having my LED side mirror indicator lamps installed...the Infiniti dealership fixed the problem...loose screws were not tightened.
I've got this same issue. Very annoying and sounds just like the video.
I was thinking of maybe stuffing something inside or maybe spraying a bit of expanding foam (just a bit) since when I press up on the door panel in the very center, the rattle stops.
