Winter blades

My summer blades got frozen to the windows tonight and the rubber edge ripped of one of the blades.

What I thought I would do is

a) get a set of refills for the summer set
b) get a new set of winter assemblies/blades

Other than dealers, are there North Toronto suppliers that would stock suitable products and install??

Tirerack.com usually has a buy one, get one free deal for Valeo blades.

Right now, wipers123.com is having a $15 rebate off when you buy two Trico neoform blades (they also sell winter blades).

Actually just called my dealer.

He was saying I have "low profile" blades and dont need (or should not bother with winter blades -- and that they tend to lift off on highway driving).

The do sell refiills, $14 for driver, $9 for passenger.

Are they a real bugger to install or not that bad at all? I think I saw instructions posted somewhere.

They sell the full aseembly as well for $36 + $23.

Good deals, but shippping to Canada is more than the cost of blades

Ended up the Rain-X Horizon Wiper Blades/ Installed in a few minutes. Hopefully they will do the trick.

Was also looking at Armor All EDGE Silicone Wiper Blades but the reviews were way too negative.

Hey G,

Just bought refills from my dealer (Montreal) and they installed them for free. It takes them five minutes to do it. If you want to do it I have an Infiniti service bulletin on how to do it.
