Update:

well after 2 weeks of having my wheels balanced..there was no steering wheel vibration at 75..not when leaving work today...getting on the highway and approaching 75..i feel the wheel start to shake again..happens for about 3 miles then it is almost gone again for 1/4 mile until i got off the highway...it was fine on the way to work and did it for that 3 miles only and not the last 1/4 mile...are my wheels out of balance AGAIN!? Ill know for sure when i get back on the highway again tomorrow..if they are out of balance again..i am getting them roadforced balanced this time..i don't want to have to worry about balance every 2 weeks!

I was weird..if seemed like when the wheels warmed up..it was gone

 

I've had several sets of tires that felt "lumpy" when cold and then are smooth after they warm up. My Kumho LX Platinums do this without fail. I think cheaper tires do this more than good ones. I wouldn't worry about it if the vibration goes away after the tires reach working temp. But roadforce balancing is definitely worth the extra $10 per tire that is normally charged. Often times, you can negotiate it for free if buying a new set of tires. Most of the time, I only balance a set of wheels once for the life of the tires so I want it right the first time. Also, nothing makes a luxury car drive like a POS more than unbalanced tires!

 

Aint it the truth! Yeah i am going to see what happens the next few days..it seems to vibrate more when its colder out...its strange..

 

R u sure there wasn't ice that was stuck to ur rims? That can throw off the balance....
