Opinion on JDM grille

The grille on my 07 is chipped to high hell and I'm contemplating replacing it with a JDM grille. Anyone have any experience with this grille or heard any horror stories?

I'm not a fan of that grill, the opening looks too large IMO. Have you considered painting your OEM grille?

I don't think it complements the car very well. I could pull off the open grille with my coupe, but it's just to gaping on the 07 sedan for my taste. Maybe it would look better in person.

I'm thinking that mesh will bust all to hell the first large bug I hit with it too...not to mention it letting trash hit the radiator.

to each their own, im not a big fan of this grill on the 07s but if you like it and wnat to get it, then i dont think you will have any issues or "horror stories" to deal with, there are more than enough cars out there with such grills and no problems.

Too many pigeons around here. I'd probably get sick and die.

Yeah I was more concerned with issues that might come up more than opinions about the look of it, not that those opinions weren't welcome.

im a fan of it ONLY if you put the Mt. Fuji chrome logo on the center on the mesh just like some of the G coupes people do. It's to open with nothing in the middle but put the logo and you will be set

I have the ionic grill, It looks less open than this one.. you have to have a few other things to compliment the look.

I would Paint your OEM like the midnight grill, that would be much more nice than this JDM grill.

The grille is not the problem. The problem is the car.

1. That car is too low not to have some sort of wheel spacers.
2. The license plate complete ruins the whole front end. The car looks like a buck tooth beaver.
