Bluetooth & Iphone4 trouble. Help!

Hey everyone, so I just recently got a 2007 G35 sport non nav and am loving it. Only gripe I have is with my bluetooth. The phone pairs up with the factory unit with no problem, and can make and receive calls with the normal lag, but no matter what i do, there is no ringtone when i receive an incoming call. I deleted and repaired the devices several times and confirmed the ringtone setting in the car, but whenever a call comes in, neither my phone or the car stereo will ring, resulting in a lot of dropped calls. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The car should ring and give you the option to pick up. Is there a setting for auto answer?

There isnt a setting for auto answer. What always happens is my phone goes to silent and i can see the incoming call on the phone display, and it usually takes quite awhile but then the car display will show an incoming call and I can either accept or reject it. Throughout this process, neither the phone or the car has any type of ringtone, and I cant figure it out

Did you check your settings? I believe there's something in there about letting the call ring through the car. I'll check when I get in the car tomorrow. So far I haven't had any issues.

I use an iPhone 4 w/ bluetooth without issues, but I have the nav package (so this likely doesn't help you.. except to let you know that it's probably not the phones fault).

Your issue may get resolved with a software upgrade. When I got my Droid X last year, it wouldn't work with my '07 G35 w/Nav. But when Android 2.2 was released and installed on my phone, the compatibility issue was resolved.

This is going to sound rude but...

Have you checked the volume setting on the car? You may just need to turn up the volume using the stereo volume ****...

I have never seen this situation. My I-phone 4 will make the car ring when its connected to blue tooth even when it is in Vibrate mode.

Good luck.
