Hello Everyone,

First post for a fairly new owner, 2007 Blue Slate G35X. Has about 110K on it. First problem encountered . The wifey noticed today that the radio stations skip when scrolling thru the 6 presets. You can scroll down from 1-3 no problem then at 4 or 5 the highlighted station is no longer highlighted and if you scroll down or up one station it goes back to the first preset. Doesn't matter which one of the 3 screens you're on or whether you are using the steering wheel control, the 6 individual numbered preset buttons or the up down arrows on the wheel.

Has anyone experienced this? And if so, what is the remedy? Should I pull the positive cable off the battery for a bit and reconnect and see what happens?

FYI, I did a search and came up with nothing. Thanks in advance.

What could be the problem? Really want to know. But i don't use my radio. I use my Ipod.

 

I have the same problem on my 2008 G I got a few months back. Mine occurs only on preset C while using the steering wheel controls... going from C4 to C5 (or C5 to C6), it would reset back to the C1 station.

Curious to know the problem and fix. I just moved my presets to A and B which work fine.

 

first thing to happen after 100k miles .... jk lol

 

Made a typo. It's only 110 km (68K). Canadian eh.

Yeah, my wife and I still listen to the radio. Some crazy nut bars on 102.1 The Edge in the morning.

Funny, it happens on A, B and C presets for us.

Sounds like a few of us with this problem or variation of this issue. Guess no solution yet??
