Looking to upgrade my 2003 and I was trying to decide on a 2007 or 2008 sedan AT, from what I see they are the same 306 horses but was wondering if there are any differences or is one more reliable than the other.

Thanks

Small things...08 will have different textured door trims (07 ones had weak finish), only 1 ambient LED as opposed to 07 having 2, 08s have less voice commands for some reason. Idk what else but there is a sticky on this I believe.

I say go with whatever has the less miles, and it looks newer!

08. backup cam came with the navigation package, vs 07 where you had to get the tech package to get that. also has direct connect for controlling your ipod through the stereo controls.

You probably won't have any warranty left on the 07, so I'd recommend the 08 so you can get anything that needs attention handled under warranty.

My 07 still has 8k until the powertrain runs out.

Did both years get the same 3.5HR motor and the same 7 sp auto?

08 has the same door trims with the soft rubber finish. I know because I had mine replaced.

Both have pros and cons.
I personally say to grab an 07 without the touchy throttle TSB applied. The 08 is numb in comparison.

Both the 07 and 08 have 5AT's.

I own both an 07 and an 08 G35. The 07 has twice the miles (52k), but it does seem faster than the 08. Maybe that is due to the touchy throttle thing....

I say whichever year gets you the best deal....although looking back I kinda wish now I had purchased a G37 sedan for a few thousand more....
