Hey it's a new guy

Hey everyone. I'm new to the Infiniti thing and found this forum and just wanna introduce myself. I picked an 07 g35s sedan about a year ago an loving it so far, def beats the jetta I had prior :P haha. I will put pics up of the car if it will ever quit raining here in SE TN.

It's tax return time so I decided it's time to put a lil money into the car. I already have the stillen short tube intake. There are thre diff routes to go I was thinking. Could I get your opinions on which way to go.

Option one: Axle back exhaust and ecu reflash

Option two: Axle back exhaust and HFC's

Option three: HFC's and ecu reflash

I've been leaning towards option one using the Tanabe Medalion Touring and upRev reflash. This way I get (IMO) a great sound from that exhaust and the little bit of a power bump, better throttle response and better A/F ratio. Correct me if I'm wrong on thinking that.

Thanks for any opinions.

Welcome to the forums, i can't believe you have been with the car with one year and barely visiting this forum!! I wish I could help you with modding but I am keeping the engine stock for warranty reasons. Only cosmetic mods for me!!

Welcome from Ky! Yup, pics would be nice. GL w/ the decision! I'm not well versed w/ ECU reflashing and such, so I would be of no help.

In the end you're going to get all 3 - HFC, catback, and Tune. So don't kid yourself haha. I would get the Catback and HFC installed, and then get the tune. You'll be happy.

Love the pix of your G! Good choice. Can't wait to see what you do to it. For your options do them all.

Yeah Im thinking of leaning towards HFC's and exhaust so that way I can tune better instead of re-tuning later after more bolt ons.
