Biting the Bullet Monday on an '07 G35

w/ 18000 miles. problem is, the warranty expires in March. How do i know if the previous owner got recall problems addressed? Will any infiniti dealership have this info on file? If they didnt do anything, which problems should i address first before warranty expires in a couple of weeks. Thanks for any feedback!!!

I don't know much about the 2nd gen sedans, but I'd imagine that not much has gone wrong in 18k miles. Dang, that's low! lol

D*MN!!! That was a church car only. With that kind of miles that car is still perfect. I would jump all over that car!

pretty good for that mileage and packages and yes any dealer should be able to tell you if any and all recall problems have been resolved, they have to keep that record by law as a safety precaution however they might not have all the TSB(technical service bulletin) performer if any but nothing to worry about there.

Seems reasonable to me, maybe a tad bit high, but I haven't bought that many cars. I paid 21k OTD for my '06 in November of '09, had 33k miles. Lets wait for others to chime in.

Edit: I recommend you do an autocheck also on it, just in case.

Dude that's a good price, I paid about $2500 more in November 2010 for an 07 With 30K, but mine was a Manufacturer CPO. With that low mileage ask them why it's not a CPO and that may give you a clue as to why the price is low. Also it's 2011 so the car is 4 yrs old so price has to be competitive with new deals out there. I would push for it to be a CPO, that way you get additional warranty (not free) and 0.9-3.9% APR financing from IFS/NMAC

Any infiniti dealership can print out a vehicle service history on the spot. Just get with the service dept and give them the vin#. I bought my car in MD and with my first visit for svc in Ga here the rep asked me if I wanted a copy and I said yes. It shows everything that was done on the car "by an Infiniti deaker" from day one.

There were very few recalls. I would check out all the TSBs on the 2007 G35 available at infinitihelp.com and one-by-one go through them with your car to see if you have any of the issues. Also since my car had the issues, make sure you don't get any popping from the steering rack when turning wheels at a standstill. Make sure the center front speaker doesn't pop when you are in ACC and press the ignition to start the car. If you detect any brake judder at all, bring it in to at least get the tsb backing plate installed and hopefully free pads/rotors. My 2007 has 18k now and it feels like new. That is a great price! I wish I had the backup camera!!!

Thanks for all the info guys. I asked bailey in a private message, but she may not have got it yet. Im buying the car from memphis, but live in Birmingham. Can my Bham Infiniti dealership address the TSB's or does it have to be from memphis?

Secondly, i know the car was a lease - turn in. Would this cause it not to be a CPO?

Thanks for all the encouragement to buy. The only thing i wish this car had was the ipod integration, but i cant really find an '08 in my price range. I guess i can live without it for now. Im going to get tint first and then hook a sub/amp up to the factory HU.

the 06 is a first gen sedan so comparing prices is like comparing apples and oranges.

an 07 with a back up cam means it also has the tech package.
