Just got my new black on black g35

Hi, I just purchased my first G. It had 50k miles on it with premium with studio on wheel. Paid $16k out the door. It's in great condition and picking it up this thursday!

Just few questions. Are there ways to reset the ecu? So that it's in factory mode? And which first mod should I consider? The budget of $300.

Also about cleaning the engine bay, how do I go about this?

Thanks

Congrats on your new G, what year is it? Can't help w/ the mods other than a wheel upgrade, others may be able to help w/ the ECU issue. Welcome to the site!

to reset the ECU just unplug the negative terminal on the battery for about a minute. Just save some money to get some mods. Maybe if you want to tent the windows that can work. It depends what mod your looking for. do you want intake, exhaust, wheels?

thanks for the warm welcome. it's an 2007 model, and my gf is going nuts over this car. (at least it was 'wanted' car for awhile) anyways, I will be getting 15% tint all around the car, and possibly tint the tail light as well.

I thought it was good deal as well, the guy who was selling was saying how he really needs to get rid of this car, because of financial reasons.

oh man im gonna have so much fun with this car, I named her Adriana

Congrats! It's a great car and you have the best color combo that Infiniti offered for the G35. Steer clear of the peasants with the silver or grey G35's.

And $16k may well be the bargain of the year over here!
What the hell can you get new for 16k, maybe a stripped Ford Focus?
