I am thinking about upgrading my exhaust to the FI exhaust, but not sure if i should get the high flow cat or not. I live in NY and was wondering if anyone from NY had problem with passing inspection with a FI high flow cat? I am not in the mood to installing the stock cat everytime i go for inspection.

I don't know how strict they are in NY compare to Cali. But so far i haven't heard of any HFC passing smog or inspection if that is the same thing.

 

Get a hold of Tony at FI and ask him. When I bought my HFC and exhaust from them he told me that it was not California legal, lucky for me I live in Cali, but remain FL resident. Or you can find a shop in NYC that will pass you if you throw some extra dollars for them. When I use to live in NYC almost every shop would pass you if you hook them up.
