06 to 08

Im about to trade in my 06 G35x to an 08 G35x - ( prem/navi ) tonight.

Let me know your thoughts about this?

Out the door $24500 w/ the trade in ... no down. 41k miles. Is it worth it?

Thanks

Seems high to me. I got my 08 (Journey, no premium, no tech) with 24k for 24,000. Sure, it's an x and has more, but with the mileage, it seems high.

And what kind of deal are they giving you on the trade?

I paid 25k out the door (22k before taxes and fees) for an 08 X prem/nav with 45 on it. This was with no trade. Idk if cars are cheaper on the west coast but I'd say that's a horrible deal. How much is sticker and how much are you getting on your trade?

In that case I'd say it's a pretty fair deal. Pretty much what I paid for mine.

Thanks.

If i was to look for a lower mileage, it wouldnt benefit me as if i go by years, my warranty will end on 2013 anyways. I think with the 41k miles, i would be ok since i dont drive more than 10k miles / year.

Thanks for the responses.

sure a better deal can be had but not by too much so i would say its a very fair deal. You will be very happy with the switch this car is much more refined inside out and the engine is very smooth as well at higher rpms.

See if you can get it lower. But that is low mileage which is very good.

No two deals will ever be the same, especially when dealing with used cars.
If you're happy with the final numbers and the car itself, just go for it.

Congrats on the new ride!

Right about where it should be, sounds like a fair deal. It is a buyers market though. Post some pics and what your thoughts are from going to a 06 to an 08.
