Looking for G35 07 Auto OEM Shift ****

frustrated with all dealers to replace worn shift **** and now I tried removing the shift **** myself today it is very easy. Please let me know any online dealers who sells OEM shift **** for little cheaper price.

My dealer gave me discounted price including the installation $260. I dont want to spend that much money and it is very easy to install myself so want to save some money.

The **** itself shouldn't be more than about $125 and installation is literally a 20 second job... if that.
There isn't even any tools required. Thieving bas!ards! I hate dealers. LOL

Rick @ Riverside Infiniti should be able to hook you up with a decent price. That's where most guys get the M45 ****.
I swapped mine out and I love the look of the full leather ****, and there is no worry of scratching it anymore.

^ that looks really nice, should have come that way form the factory to avoid scratches. It would look even better if you got a new shift boot with white stiching to match.

Surprisingly though my MT **** is scratch free, and it doesnt seem as if it would scratch easily anytime soon, so im guessing the AT and MT ***** use different material.

As for the OP i suggest you also get the M45 ****(from rick@riverside on this site) if you are willing to spend the $100 odd anyways, it looks much better and will last you much longer, there is DIY in the tech section on how to trim the post and install for a lower, more OEM look like Aeson.

I'm having a flat black leather boot made with white zig zag stitching to match the **** as we speak.
Full coverage too... getting rid of the aluminum trim on the bottom.
Should look more like an MT than an Auto when it's done.

The ***** can be found here... sold out of Riverside Infiniti

Aeson is right " thieving bastards".
I would post in the marketplace section (WTB) on Driver as well. Someone may have one for sale. Some guys put in the M45 ****, Momo and Nismo **** too.

That does look nice. I may just have to pick one of those up. Does the old one just unscrew?

I like the Rosewood. I was for it but wife wanted the aluminum when I ordered the car.

^ On the Auto, grab the metal ring (below the ****) and push it down. There is a small metal spring clip. Pull it of and slide the **** up and off. It literally takes 10 seconds and no tools. Some needle nose pliers for the clip, do make it easier though. So you don't drop it.

There is a small spring clip that holds the **** on be engaging with two small slots on the shift stem.
The M45 **** needs a higher set of slots, so I used a steak knife to make the spot and then used the file on my leatherman to make the new grooves.

No cutting is required at all, unless you decide to lower the overall height of the know, which some have chosen to do.
I cut nothing when I installed mine.

I like the M45 **** but the fact that it requires cutting and modifying rather than slipping in is making me scared to install it. I remember seeing a diy in the past.

you're not really cutting anything completely off. you just have to make a couple of notches. Cutting is optional if you want to lower the ****. I didn't cut mines. Took me about 10 minutes to do.
