If anyone knows how to reset the navigation, can you please tell me I did the bypass thing and everything is fine except the map is not calibrated now. For example while using it now, it's basiclly just moving across the screen and constantly saying turn here etc although I'm not able to.

no big deal hopefully it solves your problem and there is no real way of resetting the nav other than switching the car off and back on form what i know.

If you installed a switch make sure when you want to use the navigation the switch is on, and when you want to use the other function (thing we are not allowed to discuss) the switch is off.

I've tried doing the nav diagnostic everything lights up but other than that nothing, I hit the info button and it said that it's out of range so my next step would be figuring that out.

What about this?

1. Start the engine.
2. Turn the audio system OFF.
3. While pushing the “SETTING” button, turn the volume control dial clockwise or counterclockwise for 40 clicks or more. (When the self-diagnosis mode is started, a short beep will be heard.) • Shifting from current screen to previous screen is performed
by pushing “BACK” button.
4. The trouble diagnosis initial screen is displayed, and then the items of “Self Diagnosis” and “Confirmation/Adjustment” can be selected.

Well you see the problem has occurred after his "mod" and from what i gathered the nav worked gr8 b4 this, so such resets and diagnoses are not going to help IMO, i have suggested he recheck his mod procedure cause from what i have seen its a common issue when the mod is not done a 100% right, a simple recheck of the switch connection might resolve the problem.
