2007 g35 backup camera

OK guys I've been working on getting the stock backup camera or look in my 2007 G35 and just want to give you guys an update of where I am at and get some thoughts on how it looks. I bought the trunk lip with cam slot for 50.00 on ebay and I finally found a cam that fits just about right and has the backup guide lines. I mounted it today and ran the wire into the trunk along the factory wire harness. I will be doing the wiring and running the cam wire to the center console or may tie into the av wire this weekened but here is what it looks like so far, let me know what you guys think, thanks

Does it still have the guided lines when you reverse?

Pics of car

I'll try to take some better picture today, the pictures I posted were taken last night. I will also take pictures of what the camera looks like when it's backed up.

Sorry, but I would be shocked if the factory guides work with this installation.

I've looked at an 07 without factory back-up cam and it was missing the camera control module in the trunk and the steering angle sensor in the steering column. I didn't even bother checking the harness after that.

Looking forward to be proven wrong on this though!

Backup camera

The backup camera I am installing actually has a control module that adds the reverse lines, I should be done with the install today and will have pictures tonight or tomorrow.

backup camera install

I got the backup camera installed today and here are the final pictures. I haven't been able to adjust the guide lines yet but I think the default lines are okay. Let me know if there are any questions.
