I've seen both systems in person. Build quality is far from equal.
Wow with the hate...
I said FI makes a good quality product. (i never seen the FI in person before so this is from what i hear)
And i also said that stillen makes a good quality product, this is from what i can tell when i got mine, it seemed decent to me.
Therefore, i said FI makes a good quality product just like stillen.
At no point in time was i saying they are equal, and since i never had the two side by side, i don't have the right to judge that.
But what i did say is that both Stillen and FI makes decent quality products.
In your opinion you think FI is better made, and i can c why, but I'm sure you can't say that stillen is a POS.

To the original topic, I'm fine with a bit of drone and yes it's louder at the beginning, but it gets better after a while, or maybe you will just end up getting use to it.
Personally I'm happy with mine right now, the thing that i don't like is the way they use 3 clamps to secure sections of the exhaust, i much prefer connections that uses nuts and bolts.
Anyways when i get tired of this stillen, i will get the ARK Grip

The only drone I have is if I'm in too low of a gear going up a long hill slowly. In that situation, my wife complains and asks how I can live with that.
That drone is a little more common (more often) in the Stillen setup.

It's just a deeper growl. You may want that and if so, it may be the perfect set up for you.
If you can wait a bit, try getting out to a few local meets so you can hear these in person.
I know of a few guys who were on the fence and ended up being able to make easy decisions once both systems were heard in person.

I turn my radio off a lot of times, just to listen to it. I'm super happy with mine.
yeah i got a while to buy mine anyways! just starting my research now so i know exactly what i want! i think i'll take ur advise and try to meet with someone that has it! who knows maybe a new exhaust will come out and i wont want neither! thanks for all the help and quick responses!

the stillen is no where near that level, as i c it, if you have the Bose sound system, 1/5 sound level is about the same volume as the drone from the exhaust. i constantly talk to people sitting beside me and the exhaust is no issue at all.

i think ARK is better than any other out there. mainly because of the design of the pipes the Y and X all in one piece. also the twin canister at the back is a good design.
Secondly it's ARK's customer services, check out this thread on myg37, i was so impressed after seeing this. http://myg37.com/forums/intake-and-e...t-updated.html
here is a few videos

Im looking at the stillen as well. Im looking to just turn up the volume on my exhaust just a little but but dont want to lose the sound when at WOT, and after hearing the FI i'll have another one to look at. I was also thinking about dynamat in the truck to eliminate some drone that might occur. Do you think this would help sound proof the car?

I have FI on my car and love the sound and they way it looks. It's not too loud, not too soft. I also have the injen CAI that add a little bit on top of that. It sounds really nice.
