Not sure, but my guess is that both of these vids are taken just after the install, so it's probably burning out some protective layer. same thing happened when i got my stillen on, but it's gone with in a few hrs of driving.

Not trying to threadjack, but are there any other Brands worthy beside FI & Stillen? I've only heard Stillen in person and its louder than I thought it would be.

Was never inside the car though...so cant speak to in-car drone.

I had the ARK installed for few months. The ARK video with the pg sedan is actually my car during the installation. It's definitely the loudest of the bunch. So if you want, loud, aggressive looking exhaust.. ARK is the way to go. With that said, I got rid of mine after few months. Currently looking into other options. FI or Invidia are my top 2 choices for now.

It sounded loud as is.. it actually sounded pretty nice, but I wanted to get HFC installed for some extra gain. I knew for sure that it would be way TOOOO loud once I free it up more with a HFC because the system was already pretty aggressive and loud w/o it.

I ended up trading with OEM + cash + the cost of install for the swap. No disrespect, but I personally don't like the Stillen exhaust. It seems to have sub-par craftmanship compared to FI or Invidia, etc. I don't know why but Stillen exhausts tend to get rusty and turn goldish over time.

Well i have an OEM set in my basement, LOL. Anyways, i must agree with the fact that it does get rusty, but that's also because of the place I live, with heavy snow and lot of road salt and gravel. turn goldish is something i would have to wait and see.
