i have the stillen and personally i'm really happy with the sound of it, FI makes good quality products just like stillen, and from what i can hear they are quite similar. So if i were you i just choose the one that is priced lower.
The only one that i would say is a little bit above these is the ARK Grip.

You're seriously comparing Stillen's quality to Fast Intentions and calling them equal?
I've seen both systems in person. Build quality is far from equal.

With that being said, if you care about nothing but sound and price, let those be your deciding factors.

I was looking for the option "out the back".

I just installed the stillen cb and i am happy. The fitment is OEM with hangers and vibration dampener mounts. Install was easy. So far I am satisfied with the sound. Not super happy but not disappointed. Its only been on for probably less than 100 miles, but right now its a bit loud on low rpms and there is mild drone when highway cruising. its actually louder under 3k rpms than above 3k. Obviously as time goes on and the system breaks in, it will quiet down a little. There is no rasp and no rattles and the sound is very deep. Performance, i can tell a difference in low end response and mid-range power. I havent WOT yet. Quality, from the looks of Fast Intentions, there quality is better. The stillen looks good, but there are some places and welds were it looks "mass produced" and sloppy. Fast Intentions looks more hand crafted. overall, for the $1070 shipped price I paid vs the $1400+ FI, i am satisfied. Both are overpriced, imo. Ive never heard or driven with the fast intentions, so i cannot give a good comparison.

Very well put and I agree. The FI system, you can actually see that it was made by hand, by someone who takes their craftsmanship seriously. I was a welder, fabricator and pipe fitter for 20 years and I see the skill in each hand laid weld. The Stillen system appears to be very sloppy in some welds... something I didn't like.
I'm also very happy with the Sebring Tuning cans and tips that FI used in my setup.
The Stillen system is also know for drone, something I personally didn't want. The good news for you is that it will calm after a short while. You will still have some, but give your Stillen system some time before you come to any final decisions. I know a few guys with that system and they seem to be happy with it. (Happier now than when it was first put on)

When I bought my FI system, money was of less concern than it is today.
If I was shopping today, I'm not sure what I'd end up with. I love my setup and considering the fact that the FI system is something like $400- less than when I bought mine, I'd probably end up with the same setup again anyway.

Another thing worth mentioning.... these vids are good for a starting point when looking at exhausts, but don't let them be your only deciding factor. My exhaust sounds very little like how it sounds on video.
The videos don't pay respect to either setup.
My setup sounds more aggressive than it does on video. I've talked to a few people who went with Stillen for a more aggressive tone and ended up with more than they wanted once installed.
I decided to go with FI and then add in the HFC's if I wanted more. What I ended up with was exactly what I wanted. (although if my cats ever fail, FI HFCs are in my immediate future)
I suggest (if possible) getting out and meeting local people with these exhausts so you can hear them in person.

oh ok gotcha, i personally like the sound of the stillen but the fi isnt far off! i really would like the FI now but not sure cause $400 more is a lot of money! i dont think it'll be worth it for a little drone....how bad is the drone anyways? would it be annoying all the time or would u have to listen for it?

Oh, you'll have it... it's a matter of can you live with it.
The only drone I have is if I'm in too low of a gear going up a long hill slowly. In that situation, my wife complains and asks how I can live with that.
That drone is a little more common (more often) in the Stillen setup.

It's just a deeper growl. You may want that and if so, it may be the perfect set up for you.
If you can wait a bit, try getting out to a few local meets so you can hear these in person.
I know of a few guys who were on the fence and ended up being able to make easy decisions once both systems were heard in person.

I turn my radio off a lot of times, just to listen to it. I'm super happy with mine.

right now the drone is a tad annoying but like i said, it has less than 100 miles on it. ive had a lot worse on previous cars. i think a lot of it will go away. i can live with it either way.
