Many places, including where I live, don't legally allow anything lower than 35%. Some locations don't allow tinting at all.
IMO, with a graphite interior, 35% will look quite dark and very nice and you will still be able to see out the rear window in the evening, while backing up.

Window tint

I like how the dark tint looks, I have limo on the all the back windows and then dark on the front passenger and driver windows.

20% looks the best imo. Alot of people I know jumped on the 35% bandwagon when IL laxed the tint law to 35%, and they just ended up re-doing it darker.

Ya, 35%. It looks really light when you have 5 pm sun coming in from the side of the garage and try to take a picture of the shaded side of the car.

Thanks. lakeshore has 5% tints, so it probably looks like no tint to him.

Go dark you won't regret it

Just had my 08' x done last week, 5% all around, 20% on the driver and passenger windows. I can see perfectly at night and have no problems during the day. Black interior also, no problems with things being "too dark." My last car had the same tint scheme and through the years I never had a complaint driving with them that dark. My state law (MO) says 35% is the darkest you can go in the front but I've never had a problem with the po po round here...

Other friends started with 35% because they were afraid of being too dark and it was only a matter of time before they were ripping it off to go darker. Trust me, with the summer sun beating down on you, you'll be thankful you did!

Getting a really dark tint takes a bit of getting used to but itll only take about a week to get a handle on it at nitetime. My car is in the shop now and Im using my sisters car and she has 35s on the back and its barely even noticeable. Def get 20s and dont worry about visibility.

MN rules are 50% front and back.... isn't that ridiculous. I'm not sure I can justify paying for that light of tint. State patrol is bad about it too.
