Tech Package Reliability Going Forward

Tech Package Reliability Going Forward
There is a very strong possibility that I will be the owner of a 2008 G35S 6spd this weekend that is loaded to the brim with everything including technology package.
We had this pack on our first 08 X and didn't really think anything of it due to the fact that it was a lease and always covered under warranty, but are these things (the laser cruise control, and AFS) that I should be worried about going forward in the future?? I see a lot of people with tech that have 70k plus miles and was just wondering if they had experienced any glitches, headlight motors going out, etc.
I have never seen a thread like this, so i hope it answers other's questions as well.

Never.
Only time you'll see it get weird is if there's something blocking the sensor... solar glare or snow/slush.
Only one time did the ICC not turn on and blinked an error at me. I got out and found a wet leaf was stuck over the sensor. Peeled it off and all was fine.
Worth knowing, if something does block the sensor, you can just hold the cruise button for a few seconds and it will override the sensor, giving you the option of basic cruise control until you can clear the sensor off.
It's awesome for long, late night cruises home... I love it.

I spend a LOT of time on the highway these days, so I think it is really going to be something that I get used to having and love. I put 6,000 miles on my car just last fall and most of it was spent on cruise control on the freeway. Now with this new cruise, Im gonna straight up be lazy lol

You will need to ask specifically... fully loaded usually assumes Premium/Navigation/Technology packs.
4WAS was not a very popular option and most dont even know to ask about it.
FYI on how to determine if the car has it...
