Al,

Look up the dashboard definitions in your owner's manual. It will show you where the VDC light should be (left of center). If you're light isn't on, there probably isn't a VDC issue.

Why do you think you have a problem?

not all G35 have VDC which model do you have and even if you have VDC it should only light up when its in action, when there is slip or something

^ ooops my bad!! i was a bit "dazed" when i replied last night For some reason i i registered VDC(standard) as VLSD(optional) in my mind, thats why you should not go online when ur not a 100% "focused"

But if you dont see the light "VDC OFF" when you turn OFF the vdc it could be an issue with the bulb imo cause if there was an issue with the VDC then i would think it would actually come ON to tell you that its not active IMO, you can go to a big empty lot and floor the car for just a second(at your own risk) and see if you feel the car cut the rpm to avoid excessive wheel slip, if you get a big burnout then the VDC is NOT working else if you hear a chirp and car takes off it should be working fine.

But definitely get it checked out by a certified mechanic or dealer asap.

Vdc off light definitely comes on if it's off... and I doubt that the lightbulb in the dash responsible for vdc off can be burnt out...

im recovering well ... now 2,3 and 4 are something totally different and wont help since i doubt you have the 4 wheel active steering option(4WAS) or the headlight washer(H/L WASH) and ETS is Electronic Torque Split for AWD, have u checked every other fuse? maybe some blown fuse somewhere, check the fuse box on the driver side floor area to the left of your brake.
