This may be a stupid question..but what is so different about the under body of the an X compared to RWD that this exhaust can't fit?..is it the diff in the front?

 

I think the passenger side or driver side piping is different. Tony at F.I said something similar to that

^ That video was shot prior to Invidia updating to their new X and Y pipes. The new design doesn't seem to have much of rasp or drone.. at least based on everything I have heard via videos. However that will be changing in a couple months.

 

I've got 28% on the sides, and 15% in the rear. It looks dark at first, but really it's not. If i could get 20% on the sides, or lower, i'd do it.

The invidia exhaust sold for the 2007 and on G sedan has the new x pipe and y pipes with resonators, so there is no rasp. You can ignore the vid you posted earlier cause it has the old components.

Both videos are of G35Robby's car, so the only difference is the exhaust redesign.

Old design (old x pipe, no resonators on y pipes)

New design (updated x and y pipes)

 

There is absolutely no rasp with the new Invidia's. The new pipes completely eliminated them, as already pointed out above.
