cracked skid plate...help

hey guys,

after a rough winter i noticed the front skid plate along the under body is cracked and some parts will scrape along the ground when going over minor bumps. Kind of a loud plastic scraping on the ground sort of sound. should I have the skid plate replaced or just try to rip off the excess plastic hanging although it seems pretty tough to get under the car to do so

^whs, if somehow the plastic under cover is messed up then you should replace it cause it helps keep the mess and water out and is essential for the cars aerodynamics as well, if u wanna take it out you should jack it up and unbolt the remaining pieces cause its held in place with sturdy bolts and wont be easy to "rip off" imo

Unless it is torn is specific places.. you may just need some more screws and attach it back to the bottom of the car.
