Want to buy my buddies rims but...

Ok so the rims are 265 30 19 back and 235 35 19 front...but they where off his bmw 328xi which the lug pattern is 5 x 120. Now i know my pattern is different but i herd i can buy wamble bolts or something like that or do you guys have any idea what else i can buy to fit these on my car....

Now my second question is the offset and will it fit...

The front offset is -35

And the back is -33 or -45.

It was dark outside and we could not not see the offset but i will find out tom.

Rims come with tires for 600. The tires on the back are new as of last summer and the front ones need replacing the thread is not all that good. I don't care about buying tires because i am getting the rims for a good price.

Please any input would be great.

Here is the link for the rims

I dont think the offsets are negative... Its more of a dash then a negative symbol. I dont know how thick the adapters are for that and its also important to know if you have a coupe or sedan. you'll have more room for the adapters if youre a coupe. But as most members here will say and agree, dont buy them. Get some oem 19's.

That's the tire size, NOT the rim size. What width are these rims?

NO, that is absolutely incorrect. It definitely IS a negative value.

wobble lugs would only work if the bolt patterns were closer, for example using a 5x112 on a 5x114.3. If it were a Mercedes wheel, you could use the wobble lugs on a g35.

No. BMW rims have positive offsets - typically in the +30 to +40 or so range for stock rims and possibly +20 range for aftermarket.

Not even 350Zs and G35s can run -35 or -45 offset rims - you'd be talking about rims with like a 10 or 11" lip and sticking out way past the fender.

Uhmmm...What do you mean, "No." ??

I wasn't commenting specifically about whether BMW rims are positive or negative. My point was that the "-" in reference to wheel offsets is not "More of a dash"; it is indeed a truly negative value, and (obviously) as you pointed out there are also positive value as well.

Pepper is saying those dashes, in the context of referring to BMW rims cannot mean negative 35, negative 33, negative 45. Since no BMW or any other road car today uses these offsets, he's correct in saying that the offsets quoted by Fedi35 had to be +35, +33 and +45.

In short, the dashes do not mean negative offsets in this particular context.

I agree that you should NOT buy them. The risk of the fitment being a nightmare is too high. You are safer buying 19" OEM wheels. Find some used ones...
