"Condition: Dings and Scratches"
I'd tell them to shove those 4 POS's up their asses and get you a replacement set from Infiniti. I can be an incredibly annoying *******, so that helps me get what I want

I'm so glad I came across this thread. I have Erie, and I'll be calling my agent tomorrow to discuss a situation like this with a list of detailed questions. GL with this. Hope it works out in your favor in the end.

It's very unfortunate that their are insurance carriers who try and "cheap out." If you explore this forum you will find numerous topics where fellow G drivers tell you not to cheap out on something, whether it's tires, oil, or cleaning products. Insurance is no different. You get what you pay for. I work for State Farm and although we will never make everyone happy, I see day in and day out where we go the extra mile to help someone out or give someone the benefit of the doubt. Obviously we are not trying to give the Farm away so we do ask questions and so forth but we have a commitment to our policyhlders to pay what we owe, as well as a legal commitment. The best claim is a closed claim and how do you close a claim? Pay it and make the policyholder happy! This should be a lesson to everyone to read the print in their policy and check w/ their agents regarding their coverages. I too was guilty of never reading my policy until I actually started working for SF. Best of luck Nick, if you have questions feel free to PM me or continue on the thread. This is not a plug for SF, everyone is entitled to choose who they want, makes no difference to me, just want to prevent this from happening to fellow G drivers like myself.
*UPDATE* I guess after filing a formal complaint with the insurance commission Erie decided to rethink the claim and sent me another check, guess they couldn't find anymore on ebay. now i need to look at my other threads and decide what offset to chose for my new wheels.

make sure both companies are quoting the same coverages and deductible, seems like quite a large difference. But if they are and Allstate is that much cheaper go for it and take the extra money and get yourself a nice professional detail with part of the savings!

I'm glad things are panning out for you somewhat. I just sold one of my cars today, and will be calling my agent tomorrow to drop the coverage from the sold car and will be sure to go into a detailed Q&A about your situation.
Well Erie had the most coverage but with a500 comp deductible the other company's had less coverage with a 250 comp deduct allstate was about 35$ more a month
