Coolant change
Coolant change
Just got the car back from the dealer today after replacing a door seal under warranty. Anyways they recommended a coolant flush. I asked is it an actualy flush or replacement of coolant. He rely couldn't answer that and stated that it is a machine that does the work. The car has less than 44000 and I figured I could just drain and replace coolant if I needed to do it. The real question is do I really need to do it now? It's a 2007 g35s. Is there any advantage to having a machine Do it?

I'm have the same question as OP. I brought my car in and they said I never got my 30K service (at 44K now) and that i should get my coolant flushed. I've done everything in the 30K service myself except for the coolant crap. Is is really necessary? I know Infiniti is going to make up some crazy price like 200 bucks for 15 minutes of work.
^^ yeah, I'd say that at 44k you're due. I'm pretty sure that it's not called for in the 30k service unless you are using the Schedule #1 or whatever they call it. I'd planned to do mine real soon here, as I'm hitting 45k also. (I will not be paying for their little machine either)
