Faulty TPMS?
Faulty TPMS?
My TPMS light came on randomly the other day and I assumed that it was because of the changing temps. Yesterday while I was out and about, I decided to pull into a gas station and check my air pressure. All of them were around 35psi so I said wtf. Put a little air in all the tires and bumped them all to 40psi. Got back in the car and the light was still on. Restarted and the light was still brightly illuminated.
Anyone else experience this or could they go bad??

If your car is still under warranty take it to the dealers. Somethimes they just go bad. I had 2 of them go bad on me. Good thing they are under warranty or i would be shelling out 125 bucks. But now i don't worry about it b/c i have after market wheels. So my light is always on. But if you want that light off go to the dealers.

When I get home, I'll have to drop the car off at Infiniti and have them replace my trim piece, pop out my two door dings, and do this. Little list of bits to do.

yeah i havent took mine out of my stock wheels yet so everyday when i get in the car i see that light it dont bother me much but the place where i get my tires told me they would charge me 80 to take them out my stocks and put them in my aftermarket wheels
i got aftermarket wheels with orange electronics AM pressure sensors and monitor which comes with a display that shows pressure in each tire so i know exactly which tire is low, best part was i got all 4 sensors with display for under $100 with the wheel tire combo, even without that its pretty cheap and much better than OEM price wise and use wise as well
