have any of you experienced an issue with your gear shifter not going all the way into "Park" without a second push? sometimes the button gets stuck when trying to shift from park into reverse as well and takes some jiggling...

when i come to a stop and park the car, i'll push the shifter all the way up but my car will start beeping and flash that little up arrow and tell me to put it in park. obviously there's a simple solution to this--just push the shifter all the way up. but if you do it just as a normal person would without knowing the issue by just casually putting into "P," it doesn't fully engage and i have to make a concerted effort/2nd push to put it fully into P..

it's not a HUGE issue but just annoying bc it happens every time i drive the car.

Mine does this every once in a while. Usually on cold mornings. I think it's just one of those minor things we have to deal with. A couple threads with the same issue.

I had this issue and eventually had the shifter replace when it was under warranty and later on I ran into other issues with the whole mechanism underneath the shifter. Had that replaced too and now its working perfectly fine after 15k past the warranty.
