headlight work in Hawaii
I'm not from Hawaii but its pretty easy to do lol, have you found any DIY's on the forum here yet? I did my headlamps earlier in the year and it was really easy, just took some time taking out all the wiring so that I could put them in the oven.
its a pain in the a$$, just did this a week ago, expect to take a weekend if you want to do it right. It is all worth it in the end, but if you can find someone who you can pay to do it who has experience go for that route.
Locksmith, I found tons of DIY threads and pretty much have all info down, just worried about cooking it since I've never done this.
G35X, Yea I have time to do it over the weekend, and that's exactly the reason why I was looking for a shop to do it for me lol

Yeah, theres someone here in the states that does them, hes out of NY, and he will do them any color combos you like as well as add led strips if you want. But if you do the task, I found heating oven between 200- 225degrees and put lights in for 3- 4 minutes, then start prying away , just take your time, its a pain , but it will start coming apart.
Igor from 180 custom right? Yeah, i would def ask them if i lived in the states. Thx for the tip!

Makeinu how are you with doing stuff yourself? If you have patience and some background, I would say just go for it, I have little to no patience and get aggravated over the littlest thing. I did this on my own, in the end the look was worth it, but like I said it is a very big procedure. It takes about and hour or less if you have taken bumper and lights out before. Then next stpe is to get lenses off, took me about an hour each one, that is probably alittle over, just giving a rough idea, then it took me about 2 hours between sanding and taking apart headlight components, and painting. I sprayed these at a friends shop and used a heat lamp to cure paint, so process was kinda quick, but I did about 8-10 dustings of semi black paint. after that I would give them at least 24 hours to cure paint. Next you have to put everything back on ( bake light without the top lense for abour 3-4 minutes) press back down the lense onto the housing ( took about 30 minutes each ) ; after this, I made sure mine were not going to leak and applied a clear slicone adhesive all around the seal of the lense. You can' t see this once bumper is put back on. Total job for me took about 8 hours of labor. Keep in mind I pretty much have OCD lol, soo everything takes longer because It has to be done perfect. Hope this helps you in your decision. Also, one thing I forgot when you take apart the front lenses and go to take all the directional pieces off, be very careful when trying to take the small top one that has the little amber bulb in it, its only in place by plastic push pieces, they brake off very easily, especially when heated.
