first drag race with my new G!

as the tiltle says i tested my new car on the drag tonight. These are the results of the 2 runs i did:

60 foot 2.104
1/4 13.956
MPH 99.78

60 foot 2.121
1/4 13.940
MPH 99.71

my car is a stock G35X 2007

Wow that pretty quick for an X specially stock congrats !!!! probably get better with more runs!!!

nope thats about right for an X with no mods. The X is better off the line but since it is about 300 lbs heavier it doesnt post a faster time. however the 60 foot could be better and maybe you will be able to get around 13.7 with a better launch.

i think i launched around 1900/min with left foot on brake but i dont want to break my transmission so i was cautious

nice runs i got the intake tubes k&n drop in and bulllydog flash i wana at least hit 13.4.

nice runs but that 60 foot is bad for an AWD car, are you holding the break and the gas at the same time ? how are you getting off the line ?

I was holding the brake with left foot an released when the light came on lol, i dont have a ton of experience in drag race. I had VDC off 1/2 tank of gas and my tires are Michelin Pilot (225-55-17)

oh ok gotcha...whats the differnce between the 0-100 on the awd vs rwd?

i don't plan to do any performance mod on my car. The only thing i have done is blue led interior lol.
