I just have a concern about my AC system. Whenever i start the AC it always smell funky at first then the smell kind of goes away after a lil bit. I was wondering if that is just the filter in air cabinet or is there something wrong?

How many miles are on your ride? Also it won't hurt to change the in cabin air filter. Also have you had your A/C recharged?

my G is around 36000K. I dont think i have had my AC recharged, will that fix it?

Nope It sounds more like your cabin filter. If the A/C blows out cold air fine then it's definitely the filter. 36k....I'd say it's overdue for a change.

the AC blows out cold air fine. The reason why i dont know if the AC has been recharged is because i just bought the car few months ago from a dealership but never asked them about it.

^Okay got you...1st thing I'd say then is to change the in cabin filter. The filter is like 15.00 and is a 20-30 min DIY. Check your filter first and let us know how it turns out.
