Has this happened to anyone else? My car has 92k miles and the ac worked like a champ all the way to vegas and back but when i got back and i turned my ac on the car started to choke and ended up stalling out. I took it to a mechanic and we realized the AC compressor has seized. but damn at only 92k miles? Also does anyone possibly have an AC compressor from a crashed vehicle or something that i can buy? 700 bucks for an ac compressor from the dealer is not the business. Thanks in advance for any help :]

That is strange for sure, as for getting a used one i think you should be able to find one in the junk yard for less than $400 quite easily nowadays considering the number of totaled G's iv been seeing.
Also u should search around and see if the 1st gen compressor is the same as ours(i think it would be), if so then you should be able to find many used ones for a great competitive price.
