I've paid $1500 in front plate tickets this year. That's why I'm getting that motorized front plate: https://g35driver.com/forums/exterio...te-frames.html

I was pulled over twice in MD for no front plate. First time I got off with a warning, second time I was hit with a ticket. Finally I said screw it and put the tag on. Not worth the trouble IMO, especially when every jurisdiction is looking for revenue.

Seriously? You gotta pay to play. If you had the legal tint and front plate on, would you have gotten a ticket?

Sober but stupid.

You know the rules, you choose to behave contrary to them, and then complain when you get called on it?

It's not harassment, it's enforcement.

What are you, like 12?

Follow the rules if you don't want to be hassled otherwise you can expect more of the same.

Cops typically won't ticket tint unless it is so dark they can't see, because it's a safety issue if the can't make out possible threats when approaching the vehicle. Front license plate is pretty lame, but in CA a simple fix it... Lucky I have 3 friends and family that are cops, so for me it's a simple signature and done.

Unfortunately some areas are very strict, try lightening tint (though still illegal in ca) and see if still as bad and get that show n go thing!

At 1AM in the morning, most cops use tint or a licence plate as an excuse to pull you over and check if your drunk. Do you really think they care if one lic plate light is out? No. They are using it as a cause to check if you are intoxicated.

So yes, they were out looking for drunks. You just ended up getting a ticket. Pay it and move on.

Thread backfire lol.

You know the law (whether it's stupid or not) so why are you surprised that you got a ticket for breaking it?

I had 13% on my old GP

Got 4 tint tickets but didn't have to pay 1 due to knowing a statie

I knew i was breaking the law and told myself if i get caught..ill expect to pay. Simple as that
