1st Oil Change

So I just did my first oil change on my 08x. It went really smooth. I used Pennzoil Ultra synthetic. The car has 26k on it and I feel that the engine is a bit smoother. I bought my oil and filter from Walmart. I got a 5qt jug for $27, which was a great price. They also had Mobile1 for like $28. Anyway, just though Id share.

Should have gone with either bosch or wix oil filter. Fram is just probably one of the lowest quality filters on the market.

I did my first oil change not that long ago after my car first arrived. I went with the new Castrol syntec Edge that has the new GS-5 standards. with a mobil 1 oil filter. It set me back about $30 and my car runs just fine. I've have run M1 in my past rides and have always ran just fine. but I just wanted to try something different. Will probably switch back to M1 when they switch to the new GS-5 standards like CASTROL and Pennzoil Ultra. Unless the castrol holds up well.

It's almost time for me to do an oil change on my car. Thinking about doing something different on my oil change like different oil. I am too lazy and i always take it to the dealers and i don't know what oil they use for my car.

^ you can switch from synthetic back to conventional no problems.

I dont get where these myths come from lol

also btw royal purple is mediocer oil at best in our VQ's run a UOA (used oil analysis) and compare the oils you run, you might be amazed.
