Bought the Michelin Pilots for my 18's...review!

Ordered from Tire Rack for about $900 (with shipping and not counting $70 rebate).

Initially after install car felt worse because the Mieneke shop didn't balance them right. Took it to an Infiniti dealer, and after correct balancing they feel great!

They seem to provide a better ride with as good if not better handling. Also, I'd say they are less noisy than the Bridgestones I had on there. Comparing the weights of the tires, they are a few pounds lighter as well.

Only other thing is I think they have a sportier look as well. Almost like a drag radial when viewed from the side....but with deep groves in the middle.

Anyway, anyone considering these for the S 18's....I'd give them the thumbs up--the only negative being the price!

I've only heard good from those tires... I did have goodyear eagle f1 and boy were they rough... the plastic parts in the car would vibrate and a very rough ride. Until i switched to Falken Ze912's and has made a big difference. Smoother ride, handles well, but the main thing that i was impressed with was how it supports the vehicle on bad roads... no vibration noises in the car. Much quite and smoother I might add.

How's the road noise on 18" Pilots? I have the OEMs Sport Maxx tires and will probably need to change them late this year.

Those look good. These are all season right? So costly compared to everything else.

Road noise is pretty quiet. Only downside I can see with these tires is the cost. Hopefully that will buy a bit extra treadlife, but they are summer tires so I'm not expecting much more than 20k....
