Looking to purchase stock air boxes
Everyone uses this phrase in reference to warranty because of the Maguson-Moss Act. First off, A dealer can refuse to work on anything that's not in its original manufactured state, secondly tell that to the folks here trying to get a steering wheel replaced when their car is still under warranty, and the steering wheel hasn't been modified.
Why even do it then? If it's just to make a vroom vroom sound, you can always get one of these:
finally did mine...definitely louder....kinda sounds like a ricer now tho...and feels more laggy and not as quick...i hope the hose on the bottom of the airbox is secured with the attachment hose on the car..is there a way to check this?
RICER?! hell naw lol imho it sounds more muscle...
I'm not sure what that hose at the bottom is for but mine kinda just slots on every time...just check to make sure it looks aligned

Resetting the ecu shouldn't hurt anything, but I doubt you're taking 'extra' air in with this mod; more like you're just letting 'extra' noise out.
