Sry kind of a newbie at all this...I heard u can cut a hole in the front of ur airbox to get an"intake" sound....I believe I need the whole box

You're not alone; it does that to everyone (apparently). I sure wish they'd fix it. Maybe a mod can move one of the threads to the right section.

You don't need new air boxes to do the extra hole cut in them. Just take your current ones and cut a whole next to the one they already have ... Facing the front simple as that took me 20 minutes not knowing much how to take them out ... Lol

I just wanted to have original air boxes on the side in case its gotta go to Infiniti for any reason....what exactly would i need to make it look normal...and how is the process done??? Appreciate the help

Also would i have to upgrade filters?? And where is the hole cut?
